CHICAGO - Kirsten Lawrence, formerly the Ramblers’ women’s soccer associate head coach, has been named athletic academic advisor at Loyola University Chicago, it was announced today. In her new role, Lawrence will oversee academic support services for the sports of men’s and women’s golf, softball, women’s soccer, men’s and women’s volleyball and men’s and women’s track and field.
Prior to this position, Lawrence spent six seasons on the women’s soccer staff at Loyola, first as assistant coach, then as associate head coach. During her tenure at Loyola and also at Campbell University, Lawrence served as the women’s soccer program’s academic liaison.
The Scotland native is also an adjunct professor at Loyola’s Quinlan School of Business and has held teaching positions at previous institutions. A graduate of the University of Aberdeen, Lawrence earned her master’s degree from Campbell University.
