Seth Breitenstein is in his first year as assistant athletics director for development at Loyola University Chicago. Prior to his arrival at Loyola for this newly created position, Breitenstein spent two years in the athletics development office at Ohio University.
At Ohio, Breitenstein managed sales and renewals for 1,400 premium football seats, coordinated The Experience, OU's VIP football event for top-tier donors, coordinated donor visits and managed courtside seating for basketball, among other duties.
Before his time at Ohio, Breitenstein worked in the marketing and operations departments for the Triple A Durham Bulls and also served a short stint in the development office for the Nashville Sports Council and Music City Bowl, Inc., where he assisted in sponsorship acquisition for the Music City Bowl and also played a critical role in securing the winning bid for the NCAA Women's Basketball Final Four for the city of Nashville.
A 2008 graduate of Appalachian State University, where he was a member of three NCAA Football Championship Series (FCS) National Championship squads, Breitenstein earned master's degrees in business administration and sports administration from Ohio University.
He is married to the former Ms. Tracy Callahan.
