CHICAGO (November 28, 2017) – Loyola University Chicago will host the 20
th Annual Misericordia Day on Saturday (Dec. 2) when the Ramblers' men's basketball team takes on city rival UIC at Gentile Arena at 3 p.m. A group of over 70 individuals from Misericordia Heart of Mercy is expected to attend the game.

Loyola and Misericordia have had a longstanding relationship in which Rambler student-athletes volunteer their time performing a variety of activities for the service provider that cares for over 600 individuals challenged by mental and physical disabilities.

The mission of Misericordia Heart of Mercy is to support children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing the highest quality residential, training and employment services. Misericordia provides a full continuum of care to meet each person's changing needs and maximize his or her independence, self-determination, interpersonal relationships, and engagement in the community.

Loyola is off to a 7-0 start, its best since opening the 2010-11 campaign with seven straight wins.
