CHICAGO (April 5, 2018) – Fresh off the program's first trip to the NCAA Final Four since 1963, the Loyola University Chicago men's basketball team will be recognized by the Chicago Bulls at the organization's game versus the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday, April 7.
Loyola captivated the hearts of Chicagoans and the nation with a memorable run through the NCAA tournament in March as the No. 11 seed Ramblers won four games to earn a spot in the Final Four in San Antonio. In a record-breaking season, the Ramblers won a program-best 32 games, earned their first outright conference title since 1985, and made the school's first NCAA tournament appearance in 33 years.
During the 2017-18 campaign, Loyola knocked off four nationally ranked teams as part of its 32 wins, topping No. 5 Florida, No. 22 Miami, No. 13 Tennessee and No. 24 Nevada.
