Spirit Coordinator - Kaneidra Everson

Loyola alum Kaneidra Everson serves as the Ramblers' spirit coordinator. She earned a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in criminal justice and was a four-year member of the Varsity Dance Team, including three years as captain. After completing her undergraduate studies, she was asked to join the Loyola coaching staff to continue leading the spirit programs toward a great future.

Kaneidra worked for Universal Dance Association (UDA/Varsity Spirit Corporation) as a head instructor in the Midwest territory and continues to work for the company as a competition judge on both the regional and national level. She also works as a freelance choreographer for dance teams across the country.

Everson is in her 14th year with the Loyola Spirit Programs.

Dance Team Coach - Elyse Skalka

Elyse Skalka enters her first year as the Loyola Dance Team Coach. Elyse has grown up in the suburbs of Chicago and has performed for various studios and teams including The Joffrey Ballet, Ballet Chicago Studio Company and the State Champion Munster High School Dance Team. She graduated from Purdue University where she was a member and Captain/Choreographer of the Purdue Golduster Dance Team. Elyse was a previous instructor for the Universal Dance Association and continues to judge UDA competitions and remains the head dance team coach and spirit director for Immaculate Conception Catholic Prep in Elmhurst, Ill. Under Elyse's direction the team has exceled at winning a state championship in the lyrical category and has taken trips to the state meet every year.

Cheer Coach - Adina Johnson

Adina Johnson starts her first season at Loyola University as the program's cheer coach. A recent graduate of Indiana University, Johnson was part of the all-girl cheerleading program for four years, captaining the group her senior year, leading the all-girl competition team to three consecutive Universal Cheerleader Association (UCA) national championships from 2012-14.

Johnson worked for the UCA for two years as an Indiana staff instructor and also spent two summers as an assistant director for Fundamental Athletic Strength Training (FAST) in Michigan.
