Josh Stein, Gina Valgoi give Ramblers first titles at League gathering
2012-13: Appeared in three cross country meets...Recorded a season-best 13th place finish (15:27) at the Illini Challenge, helping the women's side capture the team championship...Finished 29th (18:56) at the Illinois Intercollegiate...Finished 127th out of 514 runners at the 40th Annual Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational...Named to Horizon League Academic Honor Roll...Did not compete during the track & field season.
2011-12: Finished 18th at UIC Home Opener in only cross country appearance ... Finished 10th in the 10,000m at the Horizon League Outdoor Championship (40:35.17) ... Turned in time of 18:55.18 in the 5,000m at the Musco Twilight ... Clocked 19:03.45 in the same event at the Ted Haydon Invite ... Did not compete during the indoor season.
2010-11: Ran in two cross country meet ... Was Loyola's third finisher at the Bradley Classic with a time 23:12 ... Also third Rambler across the line at the Roy Griak Invite, turning in a time of 24:25 ... Claimed 13th place in the 3K at the Horizon League Indoor Championship after turning in a time of 10:49.24 ... Ranked third on the Loyola depth chart in the 5K after posting a time of 18:42.10 at North Central ... Really improved as the outdoor season progressed ... Finished sixth in the 10K (38:00.45) and 13th in the 5K (18:47.89) at the Horizon League Outdoor Championship.
High School: Finished fifth in 3,200m at conference meet with time of 12:10.32 ... Took sixth in same event in sectional meet, posting a finishing time of 12:04.43 ... Did not compete at Miami (Ohio).
