2012-13: Capped off his career with one of the finest individual seasons in school history...Named First Team All-America by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association after advancing to the 800m National Final during both seasons...Selected as the Horizon League Track & Field Athlete of the Year during both the indoor and outdoor seasons...Also recognized as a Capital One Third Team Academic All-American...Captured league titles in both the 800m Run and 4x400m Relay during the indoor and outdoor seasons...Contributed 28 points to the team score at the 2013 Horizon League Indoor Track & Field Championships, helping the men's side to its first league title since 1980...Crushed the indoor school record in the 800m with a time of 1:47.59 at the Grand Valley State Big Meet...Also put his name at the top of the school record boards in the 600m, 1,000m, 4x400m Relay and Distance Medley Relay...Highlight of the outdoor season came at the prestigious Mt. SAC Relays when he bested his own school record in the 800m (1:46.77) en route to winning the Olympic Development 800m Run...Anchored the men's Sprint Medley Relay squad that won the Florida Relays, posting a time of 3:17.41 that beat the old school record by over four seconds...Played a major role in breaking a 48-year old school record in the 4x400m Relay at the NCAA West Regional (3:07.76).
2011-12: Named Second Team All-America by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) after finishing 14th in the 800m at the NCAA Indoor Championship ... Competed in 800m at NCAA West Regional for second consecutive year during the outdoor season ... Finished 13th at the regional meet, missing a spot at the NCAA Championship by five one-hundredths of a second ... Had a hand in 28 team points at the Horizon League Indoor Championship, finishing second in the 400m and fourth in the 800m individually ... Also anchored Loyola's 4x400m relay team that won the League title with a school-record time of 3:14.40 ... Broke Andre Fomby's 22-year old record in the 800m with time of 1:48.46 at the Alex Wilson Invite ... Also set new school records in 500m (1:03.30, Meyo Invite) and 600m (1:18.67, Gladstein Invitational) events ... Moved into tie for eighth on school's all-time list in the 400m with time of 48.58 at the League meet ... Grabbed a fourth-place finish at the prestigious Husky Classic in the 800m ... Won the mile at Illinois State in 4:21.73 ... Took second in the 1,000m at Iowa with personal-best time of 2:24.94 ... Successfully defending title by winning the 800m at the Horizon League Outdoor Championship ... Won title with Horizon League meet-record time of 1:49.86 ... Lowered own school record by 29 one-hundredths of a second in the 800m with time of 1:48.70 at the Musco Twilight ... Finished 12th out of 102 runners in the 400m at the Wake Forest Open ... His time of 48.63 puts him ninth on Loyola's all-time list ... Took second in field of 75 runners in the 1,500m at the Dr. Keeler Invitational with personal-best time of 3:49.51.
2010-11: Blossomed into one of Horizon League's top middle distance runners ... Qualified for the NCAA regionals in the 800m during the outdoor season ... Finished third in the 800m at the Horizon League Indoor Championship with time of 1:52.05 ... Ran anchor leg for Loyola's 4x400m relay team that posted third-fastest time in school history (3:16.18) at the League meet ... Posted personal-best time of 1:51.44 in the 800m at the Alex Wilson Invite, the fastest by a Rambler since 2003 and the fifth-fastest in school history ... Recorded fourth-fastest time in Loyola record book in the 600m (1:21.34) at the UWM Tune-Up ... Won title in the 800m at the Horizon League Outdoor Championship in 1:50.16 ... Ran opening leg of Loyola's 4x400m relay squad that won League title in 3:14.25, the seventh-best time in school history ... Broke Andre Fomby's 23-year old school record in the 800m with a 1:48.99 clocking at the Roanoke Twilight ... Finished ninth out of 48-man field in the qualifying round at the NCAA regional before coming up one second short in the finals of advancing to NCAA Championship meet.
2009-10: One of Loyola's most consistent performers on the track ... Posted Loyola's top times in the 600m and 800m indoors as well as outdoor 800m ... Finished fifth in the 800m at the Horizon League Indoor Championship with a time of 1:57.04 ... Posted season-best time of 1:53.63 in that event against a top field at the Meyo Invitational ... Finished second in the 600m (1:21.55) at the Indiana Relays ... Finished sixth in 600m in first collegiate race at Carle/Health Alliance Classic in Champaign ... Took second place in the 800m at the Horizon League Outdoor Championship (1:53.20) after blazing to a season-best time of 1:51.94 in the prelims ... Finished 12th against a strong field in the 800m at the Georgia Tech Invitational ... Also took 12th in the 1,500m (3:56.90) at the Billy Hayes Invite ... Took third in the 800m (1:53.15) at the Dave Rankin Invite.
High School: All-state in cross country and track in 2008...earned Academic All-Ohio honors in 2008 and 2009...team's MVP and Most Valuable Distance Runner in 2008 and 2009...captained state-qualifying cross country team in 2008...won the district championship and finished sixth at the state championships in the 800m in 2008...anchored 4x400m and district-champion 4x800m relay teams...4x400m relay took fourth place at state championships in 2008.
