Gina Valgoi Leads Cross Country at Bradley Classic

Junior takes second in women's race

2011-12: Competed in five of Loyola's six cross country meets during the fall ... Finished 45th at the Horizon League Cross Country Championship in 21:26 ... Placed 166th at the NCAA Midwest Regional meet ... Took 43rd at the UIC Home Opener and 69th at the Illinois Intercollegiate Championship ... Enjoyed a breakout season on the track ... Finished sixth in the 800m at the Horizon League Indoor Championship and was also a member of Loyola's 4x400m relay squad that finished second and the distance medley relay team that took third ... Posted personal-best time of 2:16.83 in the 800m at the League meet ... Moved into third on Loyola's all-time list in the 600m after clocking 1:38.88 at the Gladstein Invitational ... Finished second in the 400m at the Chicago Duals in 1:01.60 ... Finished eighth out of 87 competitors in the 800m at Grand Valley State's Big Meet ...
