2013-14: Started all 32 games at a guard spot ... Earned Missouri Valley Conference Newcomer and Freshman of the Year awards, just the seventh player in Valley history to win both ... Became first player in program history to lead team in scoring (14.9 ppg), assists (115, 3.6 apg), steals (38, 1.2 spg) and blocks (23, 0.7 bps) ... Finished seventh in the Valley in scoring, tops among freshmen, and eighth in assists ... Four-time MVC Newcomer of the Week, most by a freshman since Doug McDermott (2010-11) ... His 478 total points were just four shy of school's freshman record set by Alfredrick Hughes (482, 1981-82) ... Scored in double figures in 23 games ... Tallied 20 or more points in eight games, tied with Kenny Miller (1987-88) for third-most in program history by a freshman (Hughes, 15) ... Knocked down game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer to lift Ramblers to win over Bradley in opening round of Arch Madness ... Scored 19 of his game-high 28 points in the second half in home win over Drake ... Tallied eight of his 28 points in overtime to lead team to victory over Northern Iowa ... Racked up 27 points and six rebounds at Southern Illinois ... Notched first double-double with 16-point, 10-rebound performance at Drake
2012-13: Sat out the season to fulfill the NCAA residency requirement after transferring from the University of Kansas ... Is Loyola's first Chicago Public League product since Cortney Horton in 2008.
At Kansas: Did not play an official game for the Jayhawks, but traveled with the team during the summer of 2012 on the team's trip to France and Switzerland ... Averaged 2.3 points and shot 50 percent (4-for-8) from the field on that trip.
High School: Had a standout senior season at Marshall High School, averaging 19 points, seven rebounds, five assists and five steals per game ... Tabbed first team all-city and first team all-state as a senior ... Selected as a Public League All-Star and scored 20 points in that contest ... High school coach was Henry Cotton.
