Loyola Men's Basketball To Practice At Fenger High School Thursday

CHICAGO - Part of being a student-athlete at Loyola University Chicago is giving back to the community and as part of an outreach effort, the Loyola men's basketball team will practice at Fenger High School (11220 S. Wallace) Thursday, November 5, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Following practice, Rambler coaches and players will speak to the Fenger basketball team about the importance of education.

Special thanks goes to O'Hare-Midway Limousine Service for providing transportation for Loyola's team to Fenger High School.

Loyola, which opens up its 2009-10 season at Kansas State Nov. 13 is coming off a 92-62 victory over Robert Morris, the No. 1 ranked team in NAIA, on Monday. Freshman Ben Averkamp tallied 23 points and nine rebounds to lead the Ramblers in that contest.
