Cusumano, Willenborg Propel Loyola to Strong Finish at Weibring Intercollegiate|

NORMAL, Ill. - Led by a pair of juniors, Alex Cusumano and Nick Willenborg, the Loyola University Chicago men's golf team capped off play in the 2012 Weibring Intercollegiate in Normal, Ill. on Sunday.
Willenborg continued his strong play from the previous day, firing a final round 74. His two-day combined score of 224 earned him a tie for eighteenth place on the final leaderboard. Cusumano, along with PJ Riner, both set new season lows, recording final round scores of 71 and 73, respectively. Senior Charlie Schaffer finished the tournament with an 82, while Adam Decker tallied an 84.
The University of Illinois was crowned tournament champions with a final team score of 870. Central Arkansas (891) and Illinois State (893) rounded out the top 3 on the team leaderboard.
The Loyola men's golf team will return to action on Monday, October 1 when they travel to Cleveland, Ohio to take part in the two-day CSU Invitational.
