Dennis Turns In Impressive Final Round at UD Invite
Sophomore sets new season-low score

KETTERING, Ohio - Sophomore Nick Dennis turned in a season best three-over 74 and finished with a 36-hole score of 149 (75-74) to lead the Loyola University Chicago men's golf team in the final round of the University of Dayton Invitational in Kettering, Ohio this afternoon.
The Ramblers finished in seventh on the team leaderboard, only three strokes out of third place. Oakland University (578) put on a day-two charge to claim the team championship. Nick Cunningham of Oakland (67-73) held off John Muir of Dayton (71-70) to earn medalist honors.
Dennis' impressive finish earned him a tie for 19th on the leaderboard, alongside teammate Brian Van De Motter (75-74). Loyola also received solid efforts from juniors Alex Cusumano (75-75) and Nick Willenborg (76-75). They finished tied for 27th and 33rd, respectively. Sean Hickey posted a two-round score of 170 (86-84) to finish in 97th, rounding out the Rambler lineup.
The Loyola men's golf team will return to action in March when they begin their 2013 spring schedule.
