Men's Soccer Releases Spring Schedule

CHICAGO - Loyola University Chicago men's soccer announced the release of its 2013 spring schedule on Monday with exhibition play beginning Saturday, Feb. 23, at Northern Illinois. Loyola plays seven matches, closing the spring season on April 20 when it hosts the Chicago Cup at Loyola Soccer Park. With head coach Neil Jones at the helm for the first time, the Ramblers take on the Northern Illinois Huskies at 12 p.m. in the Huskie Indoor Training Center. Loyola hosts UW-Parkside three weeks later, playing the Rangers on March 16 at 1 p.m. A three-game road swing begins the following week as the Ramblers travel to Milwaukee, Wis., for a match against Marquette University on March 23. The Ramblers continue on the road playing a double-header at University of Chicago on April 14. The first match is at 1:40 p.m. against the Flames followed by a match against Illinois Institute of Technology. Loyola concludes its spring schedule hosting the Chicago Cup on April 20. The team takes on intracity rival DePaul at 12 p.m. with a match between University of Chicago and Northwestern immediately following. A consolation and championship match will be held at 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., respectively, as the Alumni Game closes out the night. 2013 Loyola University Chicago Men's Soccer Spring Schedule
