Loyola Downs Windsor, 3-0, In Exhibition Opener
Despite a late challenge in the third, the Ramblers won the contest in straight sets

CHICAGO - Loyola University men's volleyball team defeated Windsor, 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-22) in an exhibition match-up tonight at Gentile Arena.
Windsor came back strong in the third set to challenge and push out to a 12-8 lead, but Loyola battled back, paced by kills from Mike Bunting and Matt Phillips, to take the victory. Bunting and Joseph Smalzer each had seven kills in the contest to lead the Ramblers.
The Ramblers will begin a swing through California this weekend to open the regular season. Loyola will face Long Beach State in the first round of the Elephant Bar Tournament in Santa Barbara, Calif on Friday, Jan. 6.
