Loyola Sits Tight At No. 10 In Latest AVCA Poll

CHICAGO - For the third straight week, the Loyola University Chicago men’s volleyball team occupies the No. 10 slot in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division I-II Poll, which was released this afternoon. The Ramblers have been ranked in the AVCA poll in each of the past 65 weeks.

Loyola collected a pair of Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) wins last week, knocking off Lindenwood and Quincy, to improve to 6-3 overall and 2-0 in MIVA play.

Loyola visits McKendree on February 9 before paying a visit to defending NCAA champion and top-ranked Ohio State on February 11. The Ramblers will be seeking their first win over a No. 1-ranked opponent since toppling UC Irvine in the NCAA semifinals on May 7, 2015 en route to their second straight NCAA championship.
