It also will mark the first time since 2000 that Loyola is playing a MIVA Tournament first-round match on the road.
In other 2017 MIVA quarterfinal round action, No. 1 seed Ohio State will host No. 8 seed Quincy, No. 2 seed Lewis will entertain No. 7 seed Lindenwood, and third-seeded Grand Canyon will host No. 6 seed McKendree.
All quarterfinal round action will be played on Saturday, April 15, with the higher seed hosting. The tournament will reseed following quarterfinal action. Semifinal round matches are set for April 19, with the championship to be played April 22.
