Loyola Checks In At No. 12 In Latest AVCA Division I-II Poll

CHICAGO - Loyola University Chicago men’s volleyball checks in at No. 12, down two spots from last week, in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division I-II Poll, which was released this afternoon. This marks the 74th straight week that the Ramblers have been ranked in the AVCA poll.

Loyola is one of five Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) teams in this week’s poll, joining No. 2 Ohio State, No. 7 Lewis, No. 11 Ball State and No. 14 Grand Canyon. Last week, Loyola split a pair of conference road matches, knocking off Fort Wayne in four sets, before getting swept by then-No. 13 Ball State.

The Ramblers, who are the No. 5 seed, open up MIVA Tournament action on April 15 when they visit No. 4 seed Ball State.
