Men's Volleyball Teams Up With Care Package Project

CHICAGO -

In conjunction with Hillel at Loyola, Armed Forces Club, and Sigma Alpha Epsilon, the Loyola men’s volleyball team will sponsor the Care Package Project during this Friday’s semifinal match against the IPFW Mastodons.

The Care Package Project serves to collect care items to be sent to active-duty soldiers overseas. Fans are encouraged to participate in the cause by dropping off donations prior to the contest. Please refer to the following items for suggested contributions:

Personal Care Items (Travel Sizes Only, No Aerosols)

Baby Wipes, Kleenex Tissues, Disposable Razors, Dr Scholl’s Moleskin, Hand Sanitizer, Blistex, Vaseline, Carmex

Miscellaneous/Fun Items

Playing Cards, Zip Lock Bags, Current Magazines, Gym Shoes

Food Items (7-15 oz Containers)

Chips, Crackers, Candy, Jello, Pudding, Ravioli, Macaroni, and other non-perishable canned or dry food items

Volunteers will be on site near the ticket office to accept offerings.
