Loyola Finishes Season Ranked No. 14 In AVCA Division I-II Poll

CHICAGO - Loyola University Chicago’s men’s volleyball team ranked No. 14 in the final 2017 American Volleyball Coaches Association Division (AVCA) I-II Poll, which was released this week. The Ramblers have been ranked in 76 consecutive AVCA polls and this marks the 18th time in program history that Loyola has a spot in the top 15 in the final poll of the season.

Loyola was one of five Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) teams in the final 2017 poll, joining NCAA champion and No. 1 Ohio State, No. 7 Lewis, No. 12 Ball State and No. 13 Grand Canyon.

The Ramblers wrapped the 2017 season with a 16-12 overall record, marking the 21st consecutive year the program has won at least 16 matches.
