CHICAGO - Prior to the Loyola men's basketball game at city and Horizon League rival UIC on Saturday, January 14, a special pre-game gathering for Backcourt Club members will be held at Salatino's (626 S. Racine) beginning at 1 p.m. Loyola's radio crew of John Fitzgerald and Stephond Robinson, who was a member of the Ramblers' 1985 NCAA Sweet 16 team, will be the featured guest speakers at the event.

Admission is a very reasonable $30 for Backcourt Club members or $40 for non-members and includes an Italian family-style meal, soft drinks, coffee and tea and a lower-level game ticket behind the Loyola bench (an $18 value). A cash bar will also be available.

The pre-game gathering is a great way to support the Loyola basketball program and socialize with fellow Rambler fans. Because Salatino's is located within walking distance to the UIC Pavilion, you can park in the UIC lot and easily walk to both the pre-game event and the game. Loyola and UIC tip off at 3 p.m.

Please RSVP by January 11 to Pat Schultz at (773) 508-2566 or pschul@luc.edu.
