Ohlendorf, Schneider Start Strong on Day 1 of Butler Fall Invitational
Ramblers sit in eighth place

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Juniors April Ohlendorf and Carly Schneider fired opening round scores of 78 to lead the Loyola University Chicago women's golf team on day one of the 2012 Butler Fall Invitational.
Opening round play was scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. this morning at the Highland Country Club but was delayed until 11:30 a.m. due to frost.
After day one, the Ramblers sit in eighth place, just one stroke behind the host school Butler. Bowling Green currently sits atop the team leaderboard, while Shelby Watson (Bowling Green) holds the lead on the individual leaderboard.
Freshman Olivia Lindsley posted an opening round score of 83, while Alexandra Meyers and Christy Taugner finished the day with scores of 86 and 88, respectively. Carey Farley, who is competing as an individual, ended her day with a first round score of 82.
Weather permitting, final round play at the Butler Fall Invitational is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. local time tomorrow.
