CHICAGO - After a near three-week layoff, the Loyola University Chicago women's golf team will resume their fall schedule on Monday by competing in the 2012 Butler Fall Invitational in Indianapolis, Ind.

The two-day event, hosted by Butler University, will take place at the Highland Country Club. Play will begin with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. on both Monday and Tuesday morning at the par-70 course with a layout of 5,824 yards.

The eleven-team field includes Horizon League foes Valparaiso, UW-Green Bay and Cleveland State, along with an impressive list of other competition, led by the host school Butler.

Juniors Carly Schneider and Christy Taugner will be looking to build off their respective strong showings at the CSU Cougar Invitational. Both Schneider (81-77) and Taugner (77-81) finished with combined two-day scores of 158, which placed them in a tie for fourteenth on the individual leaderboard along with teammate Alexandra Meyers (76-82). Olivia Lindsley and Carly Schneider also turned in impressive showings for the Ramblers at Harborside International Golf Club.

After finishing play at the Butler Fall Invitational, the Ramblers will close out their fall schedule when they compete in the 2012 Wendy's Classic in Charleston, S.C., October 15-16.
