Loyola Scouting Report...

Despite losing four starters to graduation, Loyola returns an experienced lineup to the field in 2010. Seven starters are back from 2009, including last season's leading goal scorer and point-getter midfielder Nikki Staton, and second team All-Horizon League members forward Laura Trevillian and goalkeeper Katie Groesch. Senior Maggie Doe returns at the starting forward spot, while classmate Ashley Funk defends the backline at stopper. The Papierski sisters, Kristin and Lauren, will pose a threat to opposing defenses throughout the season. Loyola head coach Frank Mateus, who returns to the sidelines for a sixth season, added 10 players to this year's roster, bringing the Rambler total player count to 31.

Rambler Watch...
After four games, Maggie Doe is on pace to shatter season highs in shots and shots on goal, as she leads the team in both categories, while owning a shot percentage of .375. The senior forward attempted 16 shots and three shots on goal in 2009.
