2011: Bounced back from an injury-riddled sophomore campaign to post her finest season to date, earning First Team All-Horizon League accolades...batted a career-best .293 and set personal bests with five home runs, 23 RBI and 20 stolen bases...hit .311 in Horizon League play and batted .389 with runners in scoring position...registered 15 multi-hit outings, including a pair of three-hit efforts...had two or more hits in five consecutive games, April 22-28...reach base safely in 10 straight contests, April 17-28...batted .369 in Loyola's wins, compared to .205 in its losses...drove in a total of six runs and homered in back-to-back games versus Youngstown State, March 26-27...in a three-game sweep of Wright State, batted .667 (8 for 12) with six runs scored, a double, home run and two RBI...tripled, homered and drove in two runs in a 4-3 victory versus Purdue...went 2 for 3 with two steals and a double at DePaul...member of Loyola's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee...member of the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll...team captain. 2010: Battled a variety of injuries, but still managed to rank tied for second on the team with five doubles...batted .302 in Loyola's victories...put together a season-best, five-game hitting streak, Feb. 26-28, and again, April 3-13...had four multi-hit outings...posted a pair of hits and a RBI against South Carolina...went 2 for 3 with a home run, two RBI and a steal in a 10-2 loss to No. 18 Illinois...had three hits and scored twice in a victory over Bradley...in an 8-2 win at Wright State, went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and four RBI...had a single in Loyola's 3-2 win at Northwestern...Second Team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V selection...NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honoree...member of the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll. 2009: Earned Horizon League All-Newcomer Team accolades...finished the season as the team leader in hits (43), doubles (9) and runs (30), while ranking tied for second with 19 stolen bases...her 30 runs scored is the third-highest total ever by a Loyola freshman...in League play, batted .286...at the Horizon League Championship, hit .462 (6 for 13) with five runs, a pair of home runs and two RBI...had 10 multi-hit games and reached base safely in each of the final 11 contests of the year...went 7 for 12 (.583) in a three-game series at Detroit...had a pair of three-hit outings against the Titans in that series...picked up her first collegiate hit, scored two runs and swiped a pair of bases in the season-opening win at Pittsburgh...scored three runs in an 8-2 win versus Dayton...drove in three runs in a victory at Bradley. High School: As a senior, batted .565 with a .913 slugging percentage, .646 on-base percentage, 52 hits, seven doubles, five triples, five home runs, 48 runs scored and 20 walks...in 2008, was a perfect 29 for 29 in stolen base attempts...three-time all-conference and all-area pick...earned all-state honors as a senior and was also co-captain of the Daily Herald All-Area Team...named Jacobs' Outstanding Senior Athlete and earned the Edward Gulledge Sportsmanship Award in 2008...helped the Midland Magic 18U to third-place in the state in 2007...member of the National Honor Society...Illinois State Scholar...was one of 13 class valedictorians based on an unweighted grade-point average. |
