Weather wreaks havoc on Loyola's schedule yet again

CHICAGO - For the second time this week, Loyola University Chicago has had scheduled softball games affected by unseasonably cold temperatures and unplayable field conditions. The Ramblers' three-game series at Horizon League rival Youngstown State, slated for March 23-24 in Canfield, Ohio, has been postponed. A date has yet to be set to make up these contests.

Earlier this week, Loyola's home opener versus Big Ten rival Purdue was rescheduled for April 9.

The Ramblers are scheduled to return to action March 27 when they pay a visit to Northern Illinois for a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m.
